Mickey Factz “Rescattered”

The first preview of Mickey Factz‘ upcoming Love.Lust.Lost.II was the stellar “U (Q)” — an Erykah Badu sampled gem that sets the tone for the love motif to appear across the project. Now, we get to see it in an all-new way through Mickey’s second release off the project, “Rescattered”.

I love the concept that finds Factz linking with the producer of the originalJonathan Friedlander, to chop some of Mickey’s rare, released, and unreleased verses to unify for one concept — one that Mickey describes as “past love, present lust and future love.” As such, the beat is ever-changing and the superb mix makes it a record that has lots of entertaining twists and turns as the song switches moods within seconds. It also makes it easy to digest some of Mickey’s highlight lines so keep a close ear as Love.Lust.Lost.II is currently slated for full release this October.
