People might hate to admit it, but this is hands down album of the year. Every other rapper dropped either funny/trap shit, ridiculous music or dissed (yes Eminem, I’m talking about you)
Drogas wave is the only serious album I heard this year! Lyrically incredible, beautiful, relaxing, amazing storytelling, what did Eminem do? He dissed mgk? He mumbled? Just like J Cole did? Not to mention Jay Rock’s redemption BS, or future’s “ladidadida” Worst verse in hip hop. Gambino’s overrated “this is America”? Who did better this year? Time for lupe to get the attention he deserves.
