Though in French, the new 90 minute doc on Daft Punk (featuring Kanye West.. in English)
The-Dream & Tricky Stewart have been one of pop’s most successful production and songwriting duos of the past decade and it should please longtime fans that they’re keepin’ at it… and “scratching the surface of what we’re capable of.”
That’s what Tricky says in this great new mini-doc with FADER that takes us into the studio for a detailed studio session and sit-down interview. Both Dream and Tricky have some quotable gems as they both touch on their own individual creative process and how they work with each other.
For instance, The-Dream talks about creating from a completely free platform, which is probably the most core element to take out of the doc. Tricky elaborates on their chemistry and how him being from Chicago and Dream from Atlanta allows for two different perspectives and genres of music they grew up on creating a unique merging of ideas, sounds, and tastes. There’s only so much to paraphrase that I really suggest you take a full watch of the quick 5 minute video.
We’re on a nice run of NBA documentaries here on Gowhere. Recently it was Penny, Steph, and now KD who teams up with Revolt for this 22-minute look at all things ball, his relationship with the media, and even serious plans for rap. Naturally, KD’s D.C. homie Wale narrates.
But right now, it’s rest and rehab for Durant whose season was unfortunately cut short due to the aching right foot of his. Today, he underwent successful surgery and just posted and uplifting instagram from the hospital. Get well, KD. The playoffs won’t be the same without ya.
Not what I envisioned coming into this season. But I'm here and ready to conquer this journey. I've heard it all over the last few weeks, but I'm not here to prove anything to anybody, im battling myself. When quit and negativity are staring me in my face, i will stay strong and disciplined. And I won't do it on my own, my closest and friends and family are here to help and that's something I will be forever grateful for. I appreciate all the well wishes from all of you guys, I appreciate it. This is just a small obstacle when I look at the big picture. THANKS TO ALL MY NBA BROTHERS THAT REACHED OUT, means a lot to me. Road to recovery. GO THUNDER, I can't wait to play with my teammates again. LETS DO THIS
