Curry Two: Father To Son

Steph Curry is closing up his 5-city tour of Asia with Under Armour — revealing a couple new colorways of the Curry Two, in addition to the “Iron Sharpens Iron” colorway from last week. The latter is out in China and will be available in the U.S. on October 24th… along with, apparently, the Father To Son colorway as well!

Like the Curry Ones that dropped on Father’s Day, this one is inspired by father Dell Curry and his stint with the Charlotte Hornets. Since the purple and teal of the Hornets mesh so well together, this colorway is pretty cold as you can see in the gallery above.

More photos and some fun highlight clips from the #UARoadShow below. (A fun follow on Snapchat too, FWIW: @TeamUA)

Steph Curry reveals Curry Two

Steph & UA took to social media to officially reveal the Curry Two — the MVP’s second signature shoe for the upcoming season. This red/yellow/gray colorway is pretty hot and fitting for the exclusive China release on September 6th as Curry himself will embark on his shoe tour overseas later this week.

Below Steph’s ‘gram is another one with the leaked images of the other colorways. Off the bat, the red ones in the top left and the aforeseen USA colorway are my two faves. But we need to see the other ones, especially the GSW colors, in high res first.

Nike x adidas imagined

Too good to be true.

Did this hybrid Yeezy catch your eye like it did mine?

The well-done collab is 1 of 4 fresh looks imagined by graphic artist Dead Dilly who successfully merged not only the Yeezy II and the Yeezy Boost but also various Nike and adidas technologies and signatures (Flyknit, Ultra Boost, Roshe One, Rick Owens for ex.) above. Hopefully these could somehow happen (or at least go over better than the McWhopper did this week.)

Even though these are just imagined, so are the actual Yeezy Boosts amirite?! Haha, still need to come up on a pair, help out your boy!

adidas #DRose6 (Official Images + Release Date)

On the heels of adidas’ biggest off-season acquisition (James Harden at $200 million), they release official images and release dates for Derrick Rose’s 6th signature shoe — the adidas #DRose6.

As you can see above, the Bulls colors take to the forefront for the away version with the home mixing white and silver. I dig the look of these much more than last year’s 5’s and it’s especially cool to see them in context of the city or Derrick’s own foot in the Instagrams below. The up close detail shots are key too and it looks like a shoe to hold in person and really get a feel for it.

The Home drops October 15th and the Away drops November 5th. Creators never stop. *nods head*

Drake OVO “6IX YEAR” Jordan 8’s

Drizzy took to the ‘gram last night to showcase his new collab with Jordan Brand — the “6IX Year” 8’s, which he wore/premiered at OVO Fest. These are the best looks of the shoe’s white and black colorways thus far, with the latter one below being the sharpest and my favorite. Hopefully these are made for some sort of general release down the line.
