After last week’s official remix with Trey Songz, Kehlani brings it back to the original for the video to one of her biggest, if not, the biggest hit of her career to date. Chance appears alongside her in the video as the two look pretty comfortable together through the clean black and white lens. Big ups Austin Vesely directing. The visuals definitely bring the mood of the song to life. Watch above!
Chance The Actor?!
Sorry, I’m like the 700th person who’s made that pun, but it’s so so good. The news comes though that Chance will be starring in close collaborator Austin Vesely’s upcoming feature-length film ‘Slice’. Just from this promo image I’m intrigued. More details sure to come…
Eryn Allen Kane is ready to step out with a new solo project and above is the premiere of the first single with the Austin Vesely-directed video for “Have Mercy”. The song is a beautiful, soulful record that stood out to me because EAK straight up belted some of the high notes out of the park.
The lines, “Prayin for a sense of direction, prayin for love and protection” before the repetition of the song title really stood out to me too. Get to know one of The Social Experiment’s standout vocalists as Chicago boasts yet another talented up and coming artist prime to spread her own wings.
Donnie Trumpet, Chance, and The Social Experiment provide the Sunday Candy visual, naturally as Sunday night candy time dawns.
The video is directed by Austin Vesely & Chance himself and it’s a particularly creative one given that it’s all one-take. I’ve mentioned how I pretty much love all one-take videos and this one definitely classifies, especially given how much actual set changing there is, reminiscent of an actual play. So on that note, press play above on a cut from Surf that originally debuted months ago.
See what it’s like to be on tour with Chance The Rapper & The Social Experiment for the 23 hours a day they’re not on stage. Featuring Donnie Trumpet, Peter Cottontale, Stix, Nate Fox’s Back and Macie Stewart. Surf coming soon, We do this shit for fun.
