Consequence‘s new self-produced joint is a raw one called “Follow The Buzzards” as he channels a dominant string melody for straight bars from the start. I’m vibing with this one as it goes, and as production layers are added too.

It’s been a minute since we’ve heard some new Cons to the Quence. Here he’s joined by Company of Greatness (I like how that naturally flows in the sentence) for “Superman Lover” that I feel has a “Spaceship”-esque sound and vibe to it. I hear Cons’ delivery from “Spaceship” in this one at least. And it’s a solid jam, worthy of a rotation add today.
It’s College Dropout commemoration week and to keep the cool content and memories flowin’, Coodie released some previously unreleased video of a studio session of ‘Ye playing “Never Let Me Down” for Pharrell for the first time. Jay’s verse was laid down, but not his so Kanye spit it flawlessly when the time came. P’s reaction is priceless… and he almost don’t see it comin’. This one’s a fun, engaging viewing, especially after Kanye puts down the lollipop in his ‘Flash’ shirt and begins to rap.
As a bonus, Coodie also dropped some “Freestyle In The Car” footage with Kanye at the wheel, Consequence in the back, and both putting down some boastful rhymes.
