Drake performs new verse at J. Cole’s Forest Hills Tour

Last night, Drake AND Jay Z were surprise guests for the last stop of J. Cole’s Forest Hills Tour. One video that’s sweeping the web today is a high quality capture of Drake’s cameo that featured “Know Yourself”, a small new set of bars spit a capella, and “Back 2 Back”. Diggin’ the energy and some of the creative, and personal lines telling more about what Drizzy is going through. I can’t relate, but dang, can only imagine, haha: “Paternity tests are from women I never slept with. I’m legally obligated if they request it.”

I mentioned Jay Z… just photos but here’s him on stage with both Cole and Big Sean.

And ICYMI: Here’s Drizzy performing at the 1st annual Lil Weezyana Fest in N’awlins on Friday night. The one where TIDAL had to blackout Drake’s performance because Apple Music would have sued.

Rihanna x J. Cole collab coming

Confirmed by the BBHMM producer himself, Deputy, in the new interview with Rap-Up below. The song sounds like it will be for Rihanna’s upcoming album and should be another successful pop/rap crossover with J. Cole involved.

J. Cole announces Dollar and a Dream III tour

J. Cole is coming to a city near you and he’s performing Friday Night Lights.

Today, he announced Dollar and a Dream III and got some help from Drake and Kendrick Lamar for the announcement vlog above. Below is the tour dates (so far).

J. Cole’s clever “first-time” song, naturally, gets a clever new video. It’s puppy love in fact for this storytelling standout off 2014 Forest Hills Drive. If the song gave you that ‘whoa!’ feeling by the end, perhaps you’ll think about it even differently now? I dunno, this one didn’t impact me like many late last year, but at least dog lovers should enjoy the visual.
