Today the new Milwaukee Bucks jerseys were revealed by Jabari Parker & Giannis Antetokounmpo in MIL and whoo, as I personally expected, very nice!
I love the subtle throwback nod with the stripes down the sides, the negative space ‘M’ silhouette continuing from the logo to the bottom of the shorts, the slight “lake blue” addition on both the away and home, and using that “Cream City” cream color throughout the away threads. Plus, if you head over to the Bucks’ site, they have diagrams with explanations of every little detail and historical allusion, including the “Cream City” stripes and a cool ‘Fear the Dear’ player tag that you can barely see below. More close-ups as well for away and home.
As I predicted when the logo dropped, I can’t wait for the ‘lake blue’ alternates that are sure to come sometime either next season or the one after that. I’m betting then, and clearly, I’m also greedy because both the away and home jerseys are so, so nice.
YOU THINK IT’S FUN BEING FRIENDS WITH MELO???
Just one of the many quotables from Blake Griffin & Chris Paul as their new Adult Swim comedy sketch series hits its 2nd week in equally hilarious fashion as the premiere. New Jordan Brand athlete, Jabari Parker cameos… and then gets treated like a rook.
Hmm, maybe hometown Chicago Bull and fellow new Jumpman athlete, Jimmy Butler could cameo in a future episode too? Speculation aside… this was me while I was watching above.

Well, this was excellent.
The people at STASHED was at last week’s NBA Rookie Photoshoot and interviewed all of the rookies to see what’s on their iPod right now… and then spit some bars from it for the camera.
The results, as you may be pleasantly surprised, are quite humorous and entertaining.
You have Boston’s Marcus Smart spittin’ some YG and realizing he can’t really say much of anything. Phoenix’s Tyler Ennis does the same with Drake‘s “0 to 100” bleeping himself out when necessary. The hometown kid Jabari Parker puts down some Jay Z. New York Knicks forward Cleanthony Early goes the longest with some Lil Wayne. Hornets teammates P.J. Hairston & Noah Vonleh are fast friends, as you’ll see. And finally, Nik Stauskas sings some Justin Bieber. Ha! If only Joel Embiid could spit some lines in his lovable accent. Enjoy.
Jordan Brand has welcomed its new, potential star: none other than the hometown’s Jabari Parker. This is no doubt a dream come true for the Simeon grad as the announcement comes just hours before his primary lifelong dream comes true at the NBA Draft. But growing up in Chicago, how can you not feel honored to represent the brand of its biggest sports hero? That goes without saying. I loved the timing and tweet by Jordan Brand of the announcement, as the Jumpman is on the come-up with some of today’s young stars (Finals MVP, Kawhi Leonard the latest to go under the lights.)
