#BGCP3TVinHD Episode 2

Just one of the many quotables from Blake Griffin & Chris Paul as their new Adult Swim comedy sketch series hits its 2nd week in equally hilarious fashion as the premiere. New Jordan Brand athlete, Jabari Parker cameos… and then gets treated like a rook.

Hmm, maybe hometown Chicago Bull and fellow new Jumpman athlete, Jimmy Butler could cameo in a future episode too? Speculation aside… this was me while I was watching above.

BGCP3TV in HD Episode 1

By now, we all know of Blake Griffin & Chris Paul‘s sense of humor in their various KIA and State Farm campaigns, respectively. Now, the Clippers all-star teammates are taking it to another level with the premiere of BGCP3TV in HD — the ridiculously titled comedy short series on the Adult Swim and Jordan Brand YouTube. That’s right, this was on the Adult Swim last night… and to top it off, Chappelle’s Show writer Neal Brennan spearheads the sketch comedy show. Blake & CP are the stars here as, if you vibe with Griffin’s, and thereby Paul’s, deadpan humor, you’ll enjoy all 6 minutes of this like I did. Besides, seeing NBA players outside of their element is always fun. I’ll be tuned in every week now.

Jumpman Jordan x Chicago Skyline

I tackled all of our social medias with this one… except the actual site, ha! It’s too cool not to be seen so here it goes for the Design section — the famous Jumpman took over the Chicago skyline Saturday night, in alignment with Team USA vs. Brazil at the United Center (more coming soon…), and naturally, we Chicagoans all went crazy.

The above photo is from Jordan Brand themselves and it melts my heart. Much #respect!

Jabari Parker signs with Jordan Brand

Jordan Brand has welcomed its new, potential star: none other than the hometown’s Jabari Parker. This is no doubt a dream come true for the Simeon grad as the announcement comes just hours before his primary lifelong dream comes true at the NBA Draft. But growing up in Chicago, how can you not feel honored to represent the brand of its biggest sports hero? That goes without saying. I loved the timing and tweet by Jordan Brand of the announcement, as the Jumpman is on the come-up with some of today’s young stars (Finals MVP, Kawhi Leonard the latest to go under the lights.)
