Run The Jewels continue their stand against police brutality with their all-new video for “Early”, an engaging animated clip with the lyrics also there to drive home the message on the screen. Watch below.
Killer Mike pays tribute to “Ric Flair” by unearthing his old record and providing a new video for it — juxtaposing his and Ric Flair’s faces on a couple of (Charlotte?) skyscrapers. In general, I love the appreciation for the one and only Ric Flair in hip hop. It (whoo!) will never get old. (Whoo!)
Run The Jewels puts out their new video for “Close Your Eyes (And Count to F**k)” f/ Zack de la Rocha today and it will certainly raise some eyebrows with the concept.
It’s essentially a street fight between a black man and a white police officer. And it goes as long as one of those Peter vs. The Chicken fights on Family Guy. No comedy here though. And more importantly… no actual punches thrown. Watch above and see what you think about Killer Mike & El-P’s statement on police brutality.
