Chicago singer Eryn Allen Kane got a huge look singing alongside Prince a couple months ago now around the time of the Baltimore riots. Today, a new visual mixes in scenes from the times to drive home the song’s message on another level. Relive or check this one out for the first time.

Prince on SNL put it down as the legendary singer provided a rare TV appearance and did something SNL hasn’t really seen: an 8-minute performance. Prince jammed out with 4 songs on the heels of his double album release and left a mark on longtime and new, young fans alike. Watch above, ICYMI.
SNL was star-studded last night as well with host Chris Rock making his first appearance on the show since his firing in 1993. Here, in classic Chris Rock fashion, is his controversial opening monologue in which he mentions the Boston Marathon bombing and 9/11.

Kendrick Lamar & Prince?!
It happened live from Prince’s Minneapolis home at Paisley Park Studio as he celebrated the release of his two new albums yesterday. During “What’s My Name”, Prince brought out Kendrick to perform a verse and then the two previewed a recorded collab to the crowd. What! Great combo, and can’t wait for the CDQ. Looks like I left Minneapolis a day too early… (I was there this weekend through Monday if you’re keeping score at home.)
