Rick Ross ‘Black Dollar’

Here’s some new Rozay, that I’m seeing initially likened to his old stuff circa 2008-2010. What do you think?

With some familiar features too: Wale, Meek Mill, The-Dream, and more. Listen/DL below.

UPDATE: Bush can now be streamed in full here on iTunes Radio.

The two biggest features are below including “I’m Ya Dogg” featuring Kendrick Lamar & Rick Ross and “California Roll” featuring Stevie Wonder (on harmonica) & Pharrell (on the hook). Good vibes like much of the rest of the album already. Press play and cop the album May 12th.

Wale & Jerry Seinfeld “The Phone Call”

Gotta admit, these Jerry Seinfeld vlogs are pretty great.

“The Phone Call” is the latest one for Wale’s new Album About Nothing as this one finds Seinfeld talking on the phone with Rick Ross.

It’s obviously highly edited and the laugh track humorously drives that home. Watch the quick video above and listen to the album out now if you’ve missed it.

Bill Murray’s Rick Ross story

Not sure how I missed this when The Weeknd performed the other night, but Bill Murray was also the primary guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live in Austin for SXSW. One of mine and yours all time favorite comedians didn’t disappoint and the hip hop crossover comes with a brief, yet hilarious tale about working with Rick Ross. Yup, Bill Murray working with Rick Ross. And in the process, Murray lowkey sheds some light on a common (and weak) happening for collaborations.

Below, plenty more clips from Bill Murray’s sit-down with Kimmel. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention his outfit. There’s that. Ha! Plus, I didn’t realize this until now… but damn, looks like Kanye cancelled all his SXSW gigs, the only one confirmed was Kimmel, but no appearances by Ye in Austin this year. Dah well.

Rick Ross f/ Jay Z “Movin Bass”

The day of Jay Z appearances (but not really) continues after ad-libs on Jay Electronica’s “Road To Perdition” to the lack of an appearance in the new video for his collab with Rick Ross, the Timbaland-produced “Movin Bass”. For me, this song didn’t live up to the hype when it was released and I’m not sure the video will impact beyond today. But at least we get a look at the cool Seinfeld-style hat for Wale’s upcoming album (seen above.)
