Stan Sono’s been previewing his latest release on his socials lately and I really couldn’t wait for this one to drop. Rare in this day of age.
In large part, the production will instantly get stuck in your head. Seriously press play and you’ll see.
Beyond that, Sono’s got some motivating lyrics and is complimented by a dope flow from guest feature Phor on the third verse. Lots to like here and definitely a single that has some replay value as well.

R&B fans, here’s your must-add project of 2019 so far.
Stan Sono’s our favorite, emerging artist in the genre and his new 6-track output captures the mood of goin’ out with your lady, and then goin’ to bed with her. Hey, it’s everyone’s fantasy right?
Sono’s visual storytelling through his lyrics paint all the above in a classy manner so be sure to play this one with your partner from beginning to end. Not even 20 minutes of your time and it left me wanting more.
Fortunately, there is plenty more to come, and as Stan says so himself below, the EP’s concluding track “6AM” is the direction of his next drops to come. I’ve had the chance to preview them in the studio and that motivating, anthemic, big sound that you hear on “6AM” is really taken to another level on the future tunes.
“6AM” is my favorite record of the 6 and “Alonzo” is absolutely my favorite, and catchiest, hook on Fantasies. That’s one you can straight up sing a capella, haha. Enjoy from beginning to end!
The smoothest R&B singer that you shouldn’t sleep on this year is Stan Sono. In fact, you should sleep to this one with your loved one as Sono slows it down and breaks it down with some creative lyricism both on the verses and the catchy hook. There’s just a raw, natural energy on this record that I think anyone can appreciate.
Great start to the new year here as Sono has backloaded his new tunes to release rapid fire style now that the holiday dust as settled. The video for “Fantasies” is already on deck (below), the full EP up next, and then I even got to hear his next-next releases after that last month after his live show in Chicago. Whoo! The motivational R&B anthems that are comin… 🔥🔥🔥 But first… keep the slow jams comin’…
