The Chemical Brothers f/ Q-Tip “Go”

The English electronic duo enlist ‘Tip for all the vox for their abstract new video/single “Go”, up above. Cool, edgy sounds on the production and Q-Tip kills it too. The hook is fitting for the song, but I like Q-Tip more on the verses. As for the visuals, the choreography is impressive, but this one is admittedly hard to wrap my head around. I guess I was expecting some sort of twist that never came. *shrugs* Still cool. Check it out above.

The Chemical Brothers f/ Miguel “This Is Not A Game”

Whoa, some new Miguel?! Seldom do we hear some new music from the Grammy-winning singer during the last year-plus and so it’s a pleasant surprise that he appears on the upcoming Hunger Games soundtrack in this collab with British EDM duo The Chemical Brothers. The latter provide a destructive production that I can see fitting in the movie and is an extension of the normally smoother vibe Miguel sings upon. That said, with a few more listens, this could grow into a consistent spot in the rotation. Pretty fresh overall.
