Phero “Alright” f/ Maceo (of The O’My’s)

“Love is what WE came for. WE is what I am made of.
Peace for my brothers, sisters, and me”

One of Chicago’s most revered Latino emcees breaks his silence with his newest release. Phero enlists Maceo of The O’My’s to let the world know that in a time of misfortune we will be “Alright”. This marks Phero’s latest release following up to his forthcoming project and is one of his most emotionally driven songs released in the wake of the tribulations occurring throughout the nation as a result of Michael Brown’s passing and grand jury decision that has sparked massive protests and unrest.

The O’My’s “Harmonize”

The good homies of The O’My’s drop a new track “Harmonize” that is a cover of an unreleased song. More information on the latest release below.

A Cover of a song you may never hear from an album that may never come out. Originally written for BlacRoc 2 by Dan Auerbach and Chuck Inglish years ago in Brooklyn New York. The song found its way into the hands of the O’My’s via their producers Blended Babies and ended up being covered by them circa the “Chicago Style” sessions.

Chance The Rapper #Arthur

NEW Chance. And boy, does he have some help on this one. Wyclef Jean, Francis & The Lights, Jessie Ware, Elle Varner, Eryn Allen Kane, The O’My’s, Peter Cottontale and Donnie Trumpet all contribute.

“Wonderful Everyday: Arthur”, a remix of the Arthur theme, comes from a good place and spreads a simple, positive message, encapsulated by Chance below.

Believe in yourself, for that’s the place you start.

More great words follow the mix of background vocals and live instrumentation. At the very least, you can appreciate this and I think it’s a perfect, feel-good song that’ll come alive for a huge crowd… like Lollapalooza this Sunday night. Listen/download below (via Lolla themselves) #Arthur
