Trey’s feel-good single off Trigga: Reloaded gets the all-new storyline visual as he unravels who he’s talking about in the song throughout and all the way up til the end. The mystery was enough to keep me engaged so watch up above. I would definitely keep the radio on when this tailor-made single makes its mark on there this summer.
Trey Songz had a Valentine’s Day announcement this past weekend with more new music to come on a re-release of Trigga, Trigga: Reloaded, set for April 14th. Accompanying that is the new video for “Slow Motion”.
Trey Songz’ next single off this summer’s Trigga album is the Nicki Minaj featured “Touchin Lovin” and it’ll certainly get a boost in airplay with the release of this cool new interactive video.
Loving that interactive videos are the new wave. This is the first to my knowledge that lets the viewer choose between, instead of the red pill or blue bill, the umm… lady in red or the lady in blue.
Ladies, fellas, have fun above.
“What’s Best For You” is one of my top-tier tracks off Trigga — Trey Songz’ summer album out now. The gentlemanly record centers around Trey telling his lady that he wants what’s best for her, even though it may end the good thing they have. In the video, Trey does just that but to two ladies, haha. I thought the concept came across well through the ending where, after as gentlemanly as Trey was in the video, he just sat on the stairs as each lady was dragging their huge luggage. Lend ’em a hand, Trey! Haha, I kid. Good song and video for any of those out there who can parallel.
Billboard 200 news for ya this mid-week. For the first week of July, Trey Songz’ 6th album Trigga debuts at #1, selling a very solid 105K copies in its first week. It’s Trey’s second #1 debut in his career (Chapter V being the other). In contrast, Robin Thicke’s polarizing new album, Paula, also debuted and sold a very poor 24K copies (with only 530 in the U.K.) Dang. Looks like not a lot of people are vibing with Thicke’s reconciliation attempt.
